ops3, I appreciate your email. It looks like it was just a matter of timing and nothing special. We both do the same things. Sure is aggravating when these computers don't cooperate! Prices spiked this morning to 2.89! Ouch.

Cincy points question - I noticed you have 30,400 points the last 30 days. How do you get more than 975 per day, not counting the weekly poll. Are there more ways besides 5 prices, 5 news article, 5 posts per day? Share the secret!! If you don't mind, you could do buddy request or post on my whiteboard. Thanks. c40m

ops3, In the Nuclear article yesterday you said ' I haven't heard of any problems in France!" I do support it as one of the alternatives, yet still even one of the leaders in the Nuclear field, France did have some problems worth being concerned for. Seattle Times, July 19, 2008 reported "Nuclear accidents in France raise concern." First, an overflowing tub at a French nuclear plant spilled uranium into the groundwater. Then a burst pipe leaked uranium at another nuclear site" more in this link http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/nationworld/2008060759_nukes19.html

Firestone issue was mainly cost driven by a small group of Ford executives concerned more with short-term profits than safety or long-.term customer retention

ops3 the article "... goodbye to last new Florida coal plant?" Suggest a combined range of alternatives not just solar. mentions "NATURAL GAS: It's cleaner than coal, cheaper than oil and a 90-year supply is under our feet. But it wasn't always so alluring. Natural gas supplies and prices used to swing wildly, making a gas-fired plant extremely expensive at times to operate. However, new finds of natural gas combined with technology that more efficiently extracts the gas have changed experts' minds. Now they believe the huge inventory of natural gas will ease price swings and supply worries."

Thanks for the congrats. It was a nice surprise especially this time of the year. Keep getting the tickets and hopefully you'll get lucky too!

Saab 340 was flown by Comair for many years. Very good turboprop.

FYI on the OU Wind thread...the Corporation Commission regulated the POWER industry, not just Gas and Electric...
